YOU Team Tours YMCA Facilities in the Bronx

YOU team members recently toured the Northeast Bronx YMCA and La Central YMCA in Bronx to learn more about how these facilities were constructed and are being operated.

The Northeast Bronx YMCA opened on Sept. 9, 2021, and La Central YMCA opened on Oct. 27, 2022.

Both feature swimming pools, basketball courts, a fitness center and offer various lessons, programs and more.

La Central YMCA is part of a new multi-building, mixed-use development project that includes retail, community, and outdoor recreation space.

YOU team members walked away impressed by both facilities. They learned more about how these facilities operate and also were able to see how they fit into their respective neighborhoods.
